Challenge yourself to walk 10,000 Steps a day. This challenge is an excellent and effective way to help get people motivated, and to help get not so active people moving. Getting 30 minutes of dedicated walking (or other exercises) into your routine per day or at least 2½ hours a week is enough to reduce the risk of heart disease by as much as 40%. You can start with as little as 10 minutes per day and gradually increase your walking routine
